Coming to the Phoenician luxury resort in Scottsdale, Arizona is like coming to paradise! I just went there last week for the Mom 2.0 Summit and let me tell you, this place is amazing! A true luxury resort with beautiful pools, cactuses everywhere, a PGA approved golf course, Camelback mountain right next door, family friendly, delicious food and the friendliest staff!
I actually didn’t take any pictures of the rooms, but they are great! I shared a room with my friend that had two queen beds and we stayed down in the bungalow part. The rooms are at a decent size and has a balcony with lounge chairs. The bathrooms are huge and includes a walk-in shower! You can actually dance and lounge around in there on a bench if you want to :)
I don’t know if I counted the number of pools, but there are at least 5 including the hot tub! They are all on different levels and have a different vibe to them. I spent most of my time up at one of the main pools and it was great! All the lounge chairs have soft cushions and a towel that goes over the actual chair, which means no sliding! Yay! The pool staff is super friendly and will bring you towels and iced water pitchers as soon as you sit down. I was very excited about the water pitchers, because I am not used to the 100 degree weather and was probably dehydrated as soon as I stepped off the plane! There is also a super fun kid zone that’s not actually a pool, but a wet playground in a way. It has sprinklers and buckets of water coming down. From what I saw they have staff watching the play area when kids are there.
Restaurants and Food
We had most of our meals included in the conference, but it was all made at the resort and really good! I just love it when they have lots of fresh fruit with breakfast and who can beat a breakfast outside! We had dinner at the hotel restaurant one of the nights and I had a pasta Carbonara, which was delicious! We had some kind of apple pastry for dessert and that wasn’t as successful, but I am known to be picky with my pastries so who knows. The pancakes the next morning however, THE best pancakes I have ever had! Fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside and just the right amount of sweetness! Yum!
Golf Course and Hiking Trail
The resort is surrounded by a beautiful golf course on one side and Camelback mountain on the other! They have a cactus garden as well, but I just found out as we were leaving so I didn’t see it. I did however go on a 5K around the golf course and saw cactuses in all shapes and sizes along the way. We don’t really have that here in San Francisco so it was cool to see some up close! I really wanted to hike Camelback mountain, but I think you would have to either do it really early in the morning or in a different season. I was planning on going Saturday morning, but by 8 am it was already too hot. What’s one of your favorite hotels or resorts? Where should I go next?Great review of a true luxury resort in Scottsdale, AZ that has just about everything! #phoenician Click To Tweet
